Summer is the time of year where the schools in Hong Kong are closed for the holidays. It is also one of the best time of the year for their lecturers and technicans to upgrade their skills with training. Fatbars began this summer by delivering\u00a0certifed Resolve 101\u00a0at\u00a0Hong Kong Baptist University<\/strong><\/span><\/a>,\u00a0with the launch of\u00a0<\/span>Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve 101 certification training<\/strong><\/a><\/span>. In 1991, the Department of Cinema and Television in HKBU was formally established. To keep pace with the rapid development of the media industry in the Greater China region, the Department was upgraded and renamed the\u00a0<\/span>Academy of Film<\/strong><\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span>in 2009. Many Hong Kong directors graduated from their training programme.<\/p>\n

Fatbars became the\u00a0official\u00a0<\/span>Blackmagic Design Training Partner<\/strong><\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span>in Hong Kong early this year.\u00a0Originally designed for Hollywood\u2019s elite colorists, DaVinci Resolve has been used on more feature films and TV shows than anything else. Now, with DaVinci Resolve 14, you get to\u00a0manage your entire workflow, from edit\u00a0to delivery, without leaving the Resolve. A great addition to the film department. On location training at Hong Kong Baptist University was great as we had the whole lab to ourselves.
