In mindblowing episode, we met up with Conor Russomanno from OpenBCI at Markerfaire New York 2015. He was showing us the Ultracortex from OpenBCI. Conor explained how they sample electrical brain activity (EEG), muscle activity (EMG), heart rate (EKG) and map those bio data and engage the robotic hand<\/span><\/p>\n

We were totally excited when we heard the roars from the drones. Drone racing has arrived at Makerfaire New York 2015. Audiences cheering in the arena, as the drones battle it out at the Game of drones.We met up with Drone racer, Lester Kahn from Voodooquads before his race to talk about drone racing.Check it out.<\/span><\/p>\n

We are fans of 3DkitBash and was excited to catch up with them at the Maker Faire NYC 2015. 3DKitBash builds stories around their 3D-printable toys in a familiar cult-classic way that is still unique within the 3D printing space. They are designed to be 3D printed with no 3D support needed. 3DK files are in .STL formats and they can be sized larger or smaller, depending on your 3D printer. 3DkitBash also won the Editor\u2019s Choice Award at World Maker Faire New York 2015. We spotted a bunch of retro game machines, pinball machine and the HiveLord (orange suit guy with a monitor head) hanging around Hive 76 booth at Maker Faire NYC. Hive 76 is a makerspace based in Philadelphia. We caught up with the guys from Hive 76, jamming to rock and roll on their Raspberry Pi Retro karaoke. We met Erik from Strawbees, a fantastic prototyping toy for makers of all ages at Maker Faire New York 2015. Surrounded and chased around by kids and adults alike, Erik showed off this Hover Craft Prototype made up of straws and cardboards! You are only limited to your imagination. He is a Volunteer that is helping e-NABLE prosthetic hand The 3D Print hand movement is started by a Wood worker from South Africa thru youtube asking a mechanical effects artists from Washington State USA to help him make prosthetic fingers. This was pick up by Professor Jon Schull issuing the challenge for volunteers printing 3D prosthetic hand.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
