Phoenix TV gets Customized FCPX Training
Founded in 1996, Phoenix TV is a Hong Kong-based broadcaster providing information and entertainment among Chinese worldwide. With a broad mix of programmes, ranging from political and economic news and current affairs, documentaries to talk shows, lifestyle and infotainment programmes, reality shows, concerts and annual events, drama series and films of both Chinese and foreign origin. We were very excited when the crew from Phoenix TV Channel came and attended our Customized Final Cut Pro X Workshop. It is always a challenge for us when we customized any software to fit the needs of broadcasters. Every broadcasters have very different needs and requirements. Integrating into an existing workflow can be very complicated.
Phoenix has grown into a multi-national media enterprise with a global reputation and worldwide brand recognition. The Phoenix group runs a multi-media business, including magazine Phoenix Weekly, Phoenix New Media, Phoenix Metropolis for outdoor media and Phoenix U Radio that provides digital audio broadcasting services. Moreover, the crew were already seasoned Final Cut Pro 7 users.
Because Final Cut Pro 7 and Final Cut Pro X integrates differently into their workflow, it was important for us to include this crucial factor into their customized training. Attending the training workshop was also their IT guy who takes care of their edit stations and administer user rights to the incoming media into their network server. Different producers and editors need to edit and access the media and projects over their existing network at the same time. This is common scenario in multinational media work environment. Customized training allows us to tailor made the training to fit their needs.
Final Cut Pro X has landed in Phoenix TV in Hong Kong. We wish them the best of luck!
