Apple Final Cut Pro and Apple Motion training at China Daily Entertainment
These are difficult time to run any corporate training, with staff who either are on location, in quarantine, or across the border. Our recent training was conducted under these difficult conditions. A hybrid Apple FCP and Apple Motion training at China Daily Entertainment. Their chosen production platform are mainly on Apple FCP and Apple Motion. Most of their content are under budget constrained, with each producer single-handedly plan, shoot, edit, and publish at least one original video per week. Check out their work on Youtube Channel here.
This hybrid Apple FCP and Apple Motion training were conducted on site and streamed via Zoom simultaneously. With lessons conducted both in the morning and afternoon on the same day. This allow their staff to have the flexibility hopping into different sessions of different apps when needed.
Most of the staff had editing experiences with Apple FCP, but are not familiar with creating motion graphics using Apple Motion. The ability to create custom FCP templates using Apple Motion’s rich libraries and animations are pretty powerful addition to their workflow. With the new M1 laptop, these apps are now super fast. The latest version of Apple FCP and Apple Motion can also directly import .USDZ 3D models, a file format for 3D models, introduced by Apple, directly into their project. This format is also use in Apple’s Augmented Reality platform.
We want to thank China Daily Entertainment for the opportunity to bring our customised training to their facilities. We hope this newly acquired post production techniques and tricks inspired their team to explore more creative usage of Apple FCP and Apple Motion. Good luck.
