Certified DaVinci Resolve 101 training for HKBU

Summer is the time of year where the schools in Hong Kong are closed for the holidays. It is also one of the best time of the year for their lecturers and technicans to upgrade their skills with training. Fatbars began this summer by delivering certifed Resolve 101 at Hong Kong Baptist University, with the launch of Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve 101 certification training. In 1991, the Department of Cinema and Television in HKBU was formally established. To keep pace with the rapid development of the media industry in the Greater China region, the Department was upgraded and renamed the Academy of Film in 2009. Many Hong Kong directors graduated from their training programme.

Fatbars became the official Blackmagic Design Training Partner in Hong Kong early this year. Originally designed for Hollywood’s elite colorists, DaVinci Resolve has been used on more feature films and TV shows than anything else. Now, with DaVinci Resolve 14, you get to manage your entire workflow, from edit to delivery, without leaving the Resolve. A great addition to the film department. On location training at Hong Kong Baptist University was great as we had the whole lab to ourselves. Attendees get to learn without interruptions as they go through the syllabus with Resolve Certified Trainer, Sze.  We will seeing more graduates from HKBU, with Resolve skills as part of their future creative journey.
