Am I too old to learn new tech ?
“I am too old to learn any more.” or “ You can’t teach an old dog new tricks.” These are some of the excuses, often used by people, no matter what their age. May it be 40s or 60s, the idea that age plays such an disruptive role in when it comes to learning new skills is totally unfounded.
Let’s introduce you to the oldest programmer in the world, Ms Masako Wakamiya, who got her first personal computer at age 58. This amazing lady did not know anything about programming or technology when she retired. Wrote her first iPhone app in 2017 just because there were no apps that old people found amusing. she decided to make a game in which old people could beat young people !
